Recently I finished a bipedal robot named Danghu with my friend Zihan. Danghu is a mythic creature from Shanhai Ching(Classic of Mountain and Seas), a Chinese Classic Text and compilation of mythic geography.

Here is a brief description of the Dannghu Bot:
The robot uses a parallel mechanism and has 4 degrees of freedom on each leg. We chose a mechanism that did not appear in the world before only want to see how it could perform. The robot is controlled by raspberrypi-like developing board and will be replaced by raspberrypi in the future.
The result shows that there are some interesting properties about the dynamic of the legs. I will write more about the robot in the near future to summerize the whole design process and the problems we faced and solved.
